Stay Motivated

Surrealio DanGi

What's the point if You're not Consistent?

And that's just the question. Why would people want to listen to you, learn from you, and purchase your product, if you yourself are not motivated about it? The goal here is to keep the fire alive. We all know that the fire that fuels your passion will always be inside you, that's why it needs to be brought out!! It needs to be shown to the world and it will be excepted by all. Stay motivated about yourself and others will stay interested in you!!

It's really all about being consistent. You should make a plan, before you go to bed, about the things that you want to accomplish the next day. When you wake up (early) the next morning, you will have a written layout of what you should do that day. Prioritize and execute that plan with great enthusiasm and your day will not be wasted. Stay true to yourself and what it is that you are trying to accomplish and make forward progress/movement to reach that goal. If you "don't have time", you are really saying "it's not that important". You decide how far you can excel and only you can stop yourself from doing anything.

"Only you can stop yourself from doing what you want in life." Think about that for a second. You are the only person, the #1 person, that can motivate or destroy your dream/passion. If someone tells you that you can't do it, YOU are the one that either believes them or tells yourself that they are wrong. YOU have the power to do anything and everything you want in this world and no one, I mean no one, can tell you any different. YOU are your own cheerleader. YOU decide if you can/will or can't/will not do something. YOU hold all the keys and only YOU can show yourself the way. You may know what you need to do, or know what path you should walk down, but you think it's too hard or too much work. I shake my fist at a challenge because I know that it will be a battle, but it's a battle I WILL WIN.

"Don't be discouraged about how much time it will takes to do what you would like to accomplish ... the time will pass regardless" Spend your time wisely because it's the only thing you can not get more of. Time will pass if your doing your dream or not, either way, it's all how you spend it. Don't waste time thinking about how hard something is going to be. That time could have been spent achieving, or taking steps to achieve, your goal.

Not too long ago, I was found on FaceBook by an event and production studio (Siren Studios) in Hollywood to do a few wall mural in chalk. They contacted me, saying that they loved my artwork and wanted me to come and draw on their walls in chalk/pastels. Now, I really don't work with chalk....OK, never work with chalk. I'm a painter, but I do remember working on some pastel projects back in school. I really didn't know what to say. I knew that I couldn't pass this up but I was really worried about how everything would come out, seeing as I haven't done chalk/pastels in 8 years. But, guess what! I did it!! I knew that this could/would be a huge marketing tool for me and that I could possibly get much much more from this experience than I could ever imagine. That's why I couldn't let my fear of failure get in the way of my drive for success.

Now, I didn't tell you this story to praise myself or gloat. I told you this to show you that anything and everything is possible if you never let an opportunity slip through your fingers. If opportunity knocks at your door, you answer it, without question. I know you can do great things, now you need to know!

After the first murals success, the studio has then asked me to come back 3 more times to work on their walls. I  take that as a great compliment and can not wait to see what else they/ life has in store for me. Remember, opportunity can come wherever, whenever, and however. The trick is to always be ready for it. Listen for that knock!

Today, I leave you with this:
"You will never be as great as you think you are or as you want to be unless you constantly push yourself and challenge yourself to be better than you were yesterday."

How to Draw Human Head Outline

How to Draw Outlines of the human head Today we are going to be talking about outlines of the human head. Outlines are just guidelines that will help to structure out the image you want to paint, draw or create.   These fast structure sketches are just the framework for the final image. They are not to be taken very seriously, however, they are important to help your overall finished image. How many of you start off with an outline and find yourself spending more time on it than you think you should? How many of you worry if the outline is the right shape or size (proportion wize)? These are valid concerns but are ultimately not worth the stress.   Outlines are just the idea of your creation, not the finished work. Try not to spend so much time on them. Just get the idea out and on paper. When I was young, I asked my art teacher to help me with my outlining. If you are in need of help, I will tell you what my teacher told me. “Draw as many outlines as you can, as fast a
